New Beginnings
One Frenchie pup for the Boy, then a littermate girl for the Twins, thus began the Sisters’ love affair with our little “Snortles”…
…and as we soon discovered, once the Frenchie addiction begins, you can’t have just one.
Mike and Violette are the littermate pups who started it all. Soon, we wanted to add to our Frenchie family. Elissa, having decades of experience breeding, raising, and working top show and pet Alaskan Malamutes, planted the seed of spreading our love for these fun, snuggly little dogs by breeding quality companion French Bulldogs.
Mike grew up to be a handsome male, with excellent structure. We wanted to find a girl who would be his equal, and were lucky enough to adopt our sweet Bleuet, followed soon after by Oreo.
Now the dream to create our Delavan Sisters breeding program is coming true.
Delavan Sisters
Though not sisters by blood, we are sisters in spirit. Elissa and Cindy met at university, both pursuing degrees in the medical sciences.
Elissa went on to become a small animal veterinarian, specializing in canine reproduction. In tandem with her career, she has built an incredible Alaskan Malamute breeding program with international conformation champions, Westminster competitors, and successful working sledge dogs. Her expertise in canine medicine and healthy breeding makes up the foundation of our Frenchie program.
Cindy practices as a physician, specializing in pediatric anesthesiology. Her scientific background and focus on genetics and congenital conditions contribute to an understanding of hereditary diseases and the impacts they have throughout life.
Together, we strive to breed the healthiest and most loving French Bulldogs who will become cherished members of their new families.
We each have a personal connection to the United States and Canada, and hope to grow our extended Frenchie Family in both countries.
