From Gummy Bears to Piranhas
The puppies are growing by leaps and bounds! Every day when we come home, they look like they grew. Their teeth have begun to erupt, so we are hearing many more squeaks and yelps as they wrestle, play, and chew on one another. Hopefully, Mom and siblings will teach them all some manners and bite control.
As they explore and play more, we are adding toys to their puppy playpen. Their favorites, so far, are the crinkle duck and the bell toys. We hear a constant tinkle of little bells as they tug and play on their baby teethers. The volume and quality of noise from the puppy pen lets us know if its nap time, play time, or feeding time,
They are getting bolder and ready to learn more about the world. The girls even staged their first escape! Time to put the door on the puppy pen and move everything that is not a puppy toy up a shelf!
Their personalities are blossoming, too, and we are getting more of their individual characteristics as they interact with us and each other. Borealis is Mr. Mellow, Aurora is playful and assertive, Gale’s spicy and sweet like her mom, Alpine just loves to snuggle, and Noëlle enjoys a lap to nap on and a good tussle with the other pups.
